Broke up with Procrastination and boy was he upset!

So today I concluded that I’ve had way too much pregnancies and not enough fulfilled births of my dreams, visions and ideas. I’ve sadly went through way more abortions. I simply blamed this all on my ex-friend, “Procrastination”. He lied to me with dreams of just taking my time and letting my life just flow! That everything would be o.k, just sit back and wait. His close friend doubt always tagged along and made every word he said more true for me. They made my life a bit easier, less worrying and less time to take heed to my priorities. I don’t believe in having abortion with a real child, with life. Yet my life was constantly in the clinic. No care in the world. I’ve learnt this, if I choose not to birth the purposes God has given me. I will be sure to see someone else living out the blessings that was intended for me and the ones I care about! So far beyond myself, I decided for those who believe in me to let our friendship go. To move forward with a brand new attitude and brand new friends, Faith, Hope and Victory! Procrastination hasn’t taken this news so well and with his ingenious plan he came up with this, crashing my computer. Due to all the time spent with him, I haven’t backed up all my latest photos to my hard drive. So bye bye awesome shots! I felt crushed at first. My pictures are all like my kids, my heart shattered. But joy cometh through the grace of God and my husbands comforting words. So good try ex-friend, but this ride is over. I shall create even more beautiful memories and capture the essence of Christ better than I have before. He is that Great! I am ready Lord to have has many births as you have sown your seeds in me. Pregnant with all your wondrous purpose and can’t wait to see your glorious delivery of the manifestation of your truth being seen in my life. Thank you Jesus in advance.

About Us:)

So we realized our “about me”, doesn’t really clarify who we are. So lets start with this. We are two female cousins, who act more like sisters and best-friends. We are in our early 20’s. We go by the names “Butterfly” and “Tulip”. Butterfly will be sharing mostly about her passion for photography, marriage, her relationship with Christ Etc. Mostly about her new role has a wife and living in NY. Tulip is a Awesome Mother of a beautiful 2 year old girl. Who will be sharing her experiences of being a single mother in the army and stationed in the beautiful Oahu, Hawaii. We are both Jamaicans! Yeah! We are Christians who love the Lord and our entire being revolves around  Christ and his call on our lives. We were inspired to start this blog to inspire others, to learn from others and to share new things we learn through our daily journey. We love our lives despite all our struggles and shortcomings. We hope you will be just has inspired and excited to go on this journey with us. We love living in God’s Promise Land. It’s pretty dope if you take the time out to enjoy it 🙂

 

RAINBOW—-WHAT IT MEANS TO ME!!!!

Scientifically:

A rainbow is an optical and meteorological phenomenon that causes a spectrum of light to appear in the sky when the Sun shines on to droplets of moisture in the Earth’s atmosphere. It takes the form of a multicolored arc. Rainbows caused by sunlight always appear in the section of sky directly opposite the sun.

TO THE WORLD:

Rainbow tends to be used as a sign of a new era, of hope, or of social change. Recently in the 1970’s a rainbow flag was used to represent pride flag, LGBT pride flag or gay pride flag,  a symbol of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT. It originated in California, but is now used worldwide

 

TO ME:

It’s simply just a reminder first and foremost of God’s beautiful “GRACE”. Of his love and mercy. OF HIS RETURN!!!! The rainbow is God’s sign that out of His mercy, He is withholding His just judgment. The day will come when the Lord Jesus Christ will return to judge a sinful and fallen world such has the one we are now living in. It’s a reminder that he will not consume this world again with a flood, but with fire. It reminds me of the Grace God as given us through Christ Jesus to accept him has our Lord and Savior before this faithful day come to pass

THE WORD TELLS US:

“And God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations: I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.” (Genesis 9:12-13)

The rainbow symbolized God‘s mercy and The Covenant He made with Noah (representing mankind) not to destroy the world in such a way again. (WITH FLOOD)

CONCLUSION: Regardless of your sexuality, your religion, your choices in life, this is from the very word of God, His Holy Bible. Has Christians we don’t own what God gave to us…we are just sitting back and letting everything be taken from us. The rainbow represents God in all his glory for me. Not someone’s sexual preference. I will not teach my child about the rainbow from the world’s perspective, but rather from God’s promises. This is not a gay bashing post. I do not “hate” gay people, I DO HOWEVER HATE THE SIN. Again just going by the word of God, just so happens my conviction is greater than my own opinion.

I STAND FOR CHRIST AND HIS PROMISE IN HIS BEAUTIFUL RAINBOW-

IF I DON’T STAND FOR HIM, I’LL FALL WITH THE WORLD ….
